Laura Hershon

Managing Partner

Laura Hershon is Managing Partner and is responsible for all development, construction, and sourcing activities at Whitehall Residential.  She is also responsible for design decisions and the overall growth strategy of the firm.  She has twenty years of extensive real estate investment and development experience, serving as the Director of Investments at Federal Realty Investment Corp where she was responsible for the acquisition and disposition of retail centers throughout the U.S.  She managed a team who closed on acquisitions totaling over 1.5 million square feet for approximately $500 million and dispositions totaling over $100 million. Prior to that, Ms. Hershon was the Director of Investments at CarrAmerica Realty Corporation where she personally closed on commercial acquisitions totaling 3.1 million square feet for $508 million and dispositions totaling $225 million.  Ms. Hershon obtained an MBA from Duke University and a B.A. from the University of Delaware.
